Bean Bag Math
We tossed bean bags and tallied whether they landed on a red target or a blue one. This activity helped us practice charting tally marks (and it was fun!) Our results are behind us on the white board. Blue was the winner!
I grew up in the nice, small town of LuVerne, Iowa on a farm. My husband, John was my highschool sweetheart. He graduated from UNI and I from Wartburg. We got married after college on Labor Day weekend 1994. I started teaching in Rockwell City two weeks before our wedding and have been there ever since.
We now live near Fonda on an acreage. Our three children attend school in Pomeroy. Caleb is 14, Elizabeth 11, and Joseph is 8. When I'm not teaching, I am busy with my family doing all the things we enjoy...playing or watching sports, camping, playing board and card games, and watching movies...just to name a few.
